Training youth to be leaders is an ongoing process that begins immediately when a Scout accepts a leadership position in the troop.
The purpose of ILST course is to teach Scouts with leadership positions about their new roles and the organizational & leadership skills needed to most effectively reach success in that role. All Scouts are eligible to attend but it is required for any new leadership positions who have not taken the course like SPL, ASPL, PL or APL.
Troop 100 typically holds ILST after each election cycle. Below are the time/dates for when it will be taught:
